Erich Hentschel is one of the regions most trusted creative talents. Erich’s star began to rise after attending his first Sigraph creative convention in 1990 where he just knew he had found his destiny. Before Sigraph, Erich was working towards completing his Masters degree in computer science. The combination of computer skills woven into a newfound creative passion paved the way to his introduction as systems administrator at Limelite Studios in Miami. At Limelite Erich was able to write animation programs which enhanced all phases of graphic production. Erich quickly became expert at creating imagery from all of the platforms of the day.
From his Limelite days, Erich’s expertise landed him a 3D career at the prestigious “Click 3 West “in San Francisco. Graphics clients sought Erich’s skills and further grew his reputation while he mastered the new systems being developed by Discreet Logic Flame. His VFX and effects work has been sought after by the major networks and commercial houses in the country. Highlights include successful award winning campaigns for Animal Planet and other campaigns including Super Bowl XLI, The PGA, Discovery Channel, Discovery Kids, and Univision Networks. Working on projects ranging form feature films to commercial broadcast requires a reliable artist with great team player skills, and these are just some of the qualities Erich delivers everyday.
